Support Worker - Young People (16-25) Location: Leicester Pay Rate: 12.95 per hour Sleep-in Rate: 50 per shift Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available About the Role We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to support young people aged 16-25 in the Leicester area. This role involves supporting young people to develop independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred support in line with individual support plans Support young people with daily living skills and independence Build positive relationships and offer emotional support Assist with education, employment, and life skills development Support with cooking, budgeting, and household tasks Administer or support with medication (where trained) Maintain accurate records and report safeguarding concerns Work in line with safeguarding and organisational policies What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and can demonstrate the following: A caring, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Candidates with the following will be highly desirable: Experience working with young people aged 16-25 A qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3) Training in Safeguarding Children (Level 2 or 3) However, full training will be provided for the right candidates.
