We are already a household name within FMCG and have extensive expansion plans over the next 12-18 months including the installation and commissioning of 2 brand new fully automated production lines.This role will largely be based out on the shop floor and for the vast majority is not a desk-based management role This role will suit someone who is comfortable with an 80/90% shop floor based positionRole and ResponsibilitiesManagement of a team of mechanical shift engineers 8 engineers in totalCoordinating maintenance, delegation of work, presenting reports in production meetings, and ordering sparesProducing SOPs for jobsContractor management on maintenance/projectsWork to strict health and safety laws/permits and risk assessmentsThe Successful CandidateTime served apprenticeship EssentialStrong mechanical bias - EssentialPrior knowledge in metal forming/metal working is highly beneficial (CNC/Press Tooling/Aeronautical background)Ideally qualified to a minimum of HNC level in a mechanical engineering disciplineStrong organisational/management skillsGet in touch with Matt Morson at Stirling Warrington to discuss this opportunity further.
