Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Software & Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established automation and robotics company. What's on Offer: Competitive salary package - 50K+ (DOE) The chance to join an established, innovative company in a period of sustained growth Excellent development and progression opportunities within a market leading organisation Qualifications Essential: The ideal candidate would be an expert in software controls systems with practical hands-on skills Understanding of Pneumatic circuits and electrical diagrams Minimum 10 years' experience relating to automation machinery Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal Desirable: Experiences with Omron, Siemens, Allan Bradley preferred Experience of programming and integrating 6-axis, Scara or Delta robots into Automation systems would be an advantage Experience of interfacing to Injection Moulding Machines would be useful Roles & Responsibilities Full software coding and HMI screens for complex automation systems Commissioning & developing special purpose machines Fault finding of control and safety systems at ATM and at customer sites Developing machine processes to achieve performance requirements Programming of various robots, including 6-axis (Nachi preferred), SCARA & Delta On-site support and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems Modifications and enhancements to existing systems Provide customer training on delivered machines To communicate effectively to customers, suppliers and team members Requirements As a Software & Commissioning Engineer you will also be expected to: Work away at short notice and work the hours required to complete the job To work as part of a team of engineers.
