Job Description Solar PV Maintenance ElectricianKeep the lights on with clean, green energy.Were looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our solar operations team. Youll be out in the field making sure our solar PV systems keep running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.What youll be doingRoutine maintenance, testing, and repair of solar PV systemsPreventative and corrective maintenance (following the annual plan or as needed)Fault finding on both AC and DC systemsReporting daily site activities through our online systemCarrying out risk assessments and reporting near missesSupervising and coordinating contractors on-site to ensure H&S complianceKeeping detailed, accurate testing and maintenance recordsStaying on top of fire, health, and safety requirementsSome nights away may be required, plus weekend rota work (with extra pay!)What youll bringLevel 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical InstallationsC&G 2382-18 and C&G 2391-52 (or equivalent)HV AP qualification3+ years experience in Solar PV O&M (ground mount)Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, high voltage systems, and testing equipmentKnowledge of CCTV and SCADA systemsFirst Aid trained and Fire Marshal qualified (training provided if needed)Harness and IOSH qualifications (desirable training available if not already held)Whats in it for youAdditional weekend rota payBonus (KPI-driven)Training up to Level 4Pension (up to 6% employer contributions)Full private health cover4x life cover33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Vehicle, mobile, PC, PPE providedJob Type: Full-timeApplication question(s):Do you hold a Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations, along with C&G 2382-18 and 2391-52 (or equivalent)?
