Job Title: Technical Fleet Administrator Location: Croft, Leicestershire Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible across 3, 4 or 5 days school hours considered) Contract: Temporary (initially 36 months, with potential to extend) Pay Rate: 13.91 per hour About the Role We are currently seeking a Technical Fleet Administrator for our client in Croft to provide technical and administrative support to the fleet vehicle workshop and wider team. This is a customer-facing, office-based role, and full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position would suit someone with experience in the motor industry, particularly those who have worked with organisations such as the AA, RAC, vehicle workshops or garages , and who have a good understanding of vehicle compliance and maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Fleet Administrator, your duties will include: Supporting the day-to-day running of the Driver and Vehicle Management team Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, both face-to-face and by telephone Liaising closely with the workshop management team to resolve customer queries and issues Maintaining and updating the vehicle management system to ensure accurate and compliant records Processing invoices for goods and services, including checking prices, coding, re-charging and resolving discrepancies Managing financial queries relating to payments, income, expenditure and supplier invoices Communicating vehicle maintenance schedules and assisting with appointment re-arrangements Supporting the monitoring and analysis of supplier performance Recording and understanding performance data relating to operational equipment and Health & Safety Assisting with vehicle insurance claims by providing relevant documentation Preparing for fleet meetings, including taking and distributing notes and minutes Producing management reports to support performance monitoring Identifying process improvements to enhance service efficiency Ensuring information is managed securely in line with Council policies and reporting any breaches About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience working in the motor industry (e.g. garages, fleet services, AA, RAC or similar) Has knowledge of vehicle compliance, maintenance and related administrative processes Is confident dealing with customers in a professional, front-facing role Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail Is comfortable working with computerised systems and management reports Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders Additional Information This is a part-time role (21 hours per week) with flexibility over working days Informal, face-to-face interviews will take place as soon as possible Training and support will be provided within the team TPBN1_UKTJ
