Corporate Consultant (Advisory Corporate & OMB)

This is a pure advisory role with no compliance responsibilities. The position will focus primarily on advising Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) and mid-market corporate clients, with occasional exposure to larger corporate matters at a strategic, high-level.These are advisory only roles, there is no compliance work involved.On corporates we are looking for OMB and corporate tax specialist with advisory experience in as many as possible of the following areas:Group reorganisations to include demergers, hive ups/downs and MBOsUK aspects of international tax to include corporate tax residency and corporate interest restriction and, at a high level only, transfer pricing, CFCs and BEPs.Loan relationships and intangibles asset regimeSubstantial shareholding exemptionBusiness Asset Disposal ReliefCorporation tax losses, associated companies and QIPsCompany purchase of own sharesTax clearancesShare schemes e.g. EMIOur client is seeking candidates with exclusively share schemes or exclusively valuations background. They would also look at suitable candidates with high-level, general tax background (i.e across all taxes).The role would suit someone from a more mixed tax/OMB background with a corporate bias rather than a pure corporate tax specialist as large corporate work tends to be less frequent and at a higher level. xjdpvnf It is an advisory only role, there is no compliance work involved.
