As we continue to scale the business, were launching our very first stores outside of London and Leeds marks a major milestone for us as the home of our brand new unisex concept.This is a defining moment for the company, and were looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to take full ownership of this store from launch. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in expanding our community, shaping a new arm of the brand, and building something from the ground up in a new city.You will be responsible for:Team LeadershipFoster a positive and supportive work environment, encouraging open communication and a strong sense of communityRecruit, train and develop a high-performing team from day oneProvide ongoing coaching to ensure exceptional customer service and strong team cultureSales ManagementDrive sales performance and ensure the store meets and exceeds targetsMonitor KPIs closely and implement strategies to maximise performanceLead from the front on the shop floor, setting the standard for customer engagementVisual MerchandisingOversee the presentation and layout of stock to create a visually exciting and trend-led retail environmentContinuously evolve displays based on stock, trends and sell-throughBring the unisex Y2K concept to life in-storeSocial Media and Local MarketingWork with the Social Media Manager to drive store visibility and engagementBuild hype around the new store opening and ongoing activityDevelop strong links within the local community to grow brand presenceInventory ManagementOversee stock levels and work closely with the stock team to ensure strong product offeringMonitor sell-through and identify opportunities to drive performance across categoriesStaffingManage rotas, payroll and team scheduling efficientlyEnsure optimal staffing levels to support a high-energy store environmentCustomer Experience EnhancementDeliver an exceptional, community-driven in-store experienceBuild relationships with customers and create a loyal following in a new cityBusiness Development and ExpansionPlay a key role in establishing Y2K Vintage in LeedsAct as an ambassador for the brand as we expand beyond LondonContribute ideas and strategy to support continued growthCoordination with xjdpvnf Company FoundersWork closely with founders on store performance, strategy and opportunitiesBe a key voice in shaping the future of the brand during this scaling phaseDesired experience:Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally in fashion or vintageStrong leadership skills with the ability to build a team from the ground upCommercially driven with a strong understanding of KPIs and sales strategyExperience in visual merchandising and creating engaging retail spacesA passion for vintage fashion, particularly 90s and 2000s/Y2K trendsStrong organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: 34,000.00 (+Bonus scheme)Benefits:Company pensionEmployee discountStore discount
