This opportunity offers both personal and career development within a market leading engineering groupThis is a permanent opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join a forward thinking, industry leader.The brand new purposed built state of the art manufacturing facility is based in Huddersfield making it accessible from surrounding towns and cities including, Halifax, Elland, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.Key Responsibilities of the CNC MachinistOperate and set single spindle CNC machinesInspect both own work and that of colleagues to maintain quality standardsEdit programs controlled by Fanuc systemsCollaborate effectively within a team to support world-class manufacturingEnsure smooth handovers between shiftsContinuously look for and implement improvements within the production cellFollow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environmentWorking Hours of the CNC Machinist Week 1: Mon- Thur 06:00-14:00, Fri 06:00-11:30Week 2: Mon- Thur 14:00-22:00, Fri 11:30-17:30Minimum Experience/ Skills RequiredPrevious experience working within engineering and manufacturing.Ability to use engineering measuring equipment.Previous experience working on CNC Machines.Comfortably able to read from engineering drawings.Experience working with Stainless Steel.
