Production Team Leader (Mattresses) Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: 33,973 per year company benefits Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm enjoy Fridays off! Our client is growing and with that, we are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our clients Mattress Department in Leeds. As a Team Leader, youll play a vital role in coordinating daily operations across our clients mattress production lines. You''ll ensure production goals are met; quality remains exceptional and our clients people are supported and motivated. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions and actions will have a direct impact on the team and output. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and motivate a team of production operatives to hit daily targets Maintain accurate production records and monitor performance via the PPMS (Production Performance Management System) Manage stock levels and minimise downtime to maintain workflow Work cross-functionally with departments to resolve production challenges Ensure health & safety, housekeeping, and PPE standards are followed at all times Conduct return-to-work interviews and manage attendance in collaboration with HR Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste Analyse production, quality and waste data to produce regular reports for management Promote a positive and proactive working culture based on our five core values Who Were Looking For Were seeking someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Hungry A strong, sustainable work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile Smart Communicates clearly, listens well and stays engaged with the team Humble Puts the team first, shares credit and values collective success Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in a production or manufacturing team leader role Excellent leadership, communication and motivational skills Strong organisational ability with a keen eye for detail Able to work under pressure and respond flexibly to changing needs Committed to health, safety and quality standards Next Steps If youre ready to lead a dedicated team and be part of a business that values sustainability, craftsmanship and people, wed love to hear from you.
