Are you a proactive Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Do you want to take ownership of the recruitment agenda and genuinely shape how a growing business attracts, develops, and retains great people? HW People is supporting a well-established and growing business operating in the retail space to find a Talent Acquisition Partner who will take the lead on all things talent from hands-on hiring to longer-term development planning. Reporting to the HRBP, you will lead the full hiring journey; from sourcing and selection through to onboarding. Youll play a key role in shaping how the business attracts and develops talent, working closely with managers to build a proactive, joined-up recruitment function. What will you be doing? Owning the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience. Partnering with hiring managers across the business to understand needs, shape hiring plans, and act as a trusted advisor. Driving proactive sourcing strategies, using a mix of job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach. Improving recruitment processes and systems, including reviewing PSLs, using data to inform decisions, and helping refine tools and frameworks. Supporting internal development, from career pathways and succession planning to apprenticeships and leadership growth. Shaping the employer brand, helping to tell the organisations story and attract the right talent across multiple platforms. Collaborating closely with HR and senior stakeholders, ensuring recruitment aligns with business goals and future workforce needs. Keeping an eye on market trends, legislation, and emerging tech to continuously improve the talent function. What do you need? Proven experience in talent development or recruitment, with a track record of successfully filling positions across various levels and functions. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent certification in HR is desirable. Full UK Driving Licence {Essential}A discreet, professional manner, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Great listening and interpersonal skills, with a positive, people-first approach. Self-motivated and punctual, with the initiative to take ownership and deliver a great candidate and stakeholder experience.
