The team is made up of multimedia journalists based around the UK who supplement UK story teams. As a Video Journalist, youll play a key role in the production of major editorial projects, with a focus on digital output, focussing on delivering content aimed at younger audiences for Social, Online, vertical video, You Tube and streaming platforms.WHY JOIN THE TEAMThe Planning and Impact team plays a crucial role within BBC News, producing major editorial projects, planning and running live events and ensuring the delivery of UK stories. Its an exciting time to be part of the team following its expansion under digital transformation.Your Key Responsibilities And ImpactRoutinely self-shoot and edit video content for a range of platforms.Exercise editorial judgment in developing story ideas and producing accurate and impartial journalism.Liaise closely with other team members and departments to ensure that output material is shared, duplication is avoided, and best practice is upheld.
