HGV Class 1 Night Driver ADR

Green Light Recruitment are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 ADR night Driver to join our Client based in Leeds LS10. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service. The run will be Mon-Friday 1900 start- collect in Leeds and drive to Peterborough depot drop and swap drive back to Leeds - Run averaging 8hrs Route may vary from time to time. Duties Operate Class 1 vehicles and transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements Valid licence (C+E or equivalent) with ADR classes 2- 9 (minus 1 & 7) required and a clean driving record. Proven experience as a Class 1 ADR Driver Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and handling unexpected situations on the road.
