Cyber Security Sales Executive We are growing fast and are looking for a confident and driven Cyber Security Business Development Manager to join our expanding team at Data Protection People. You will play a key role in generating new business across our full suite of cyber security services, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, SOC 2 and penetration testing. What You Will Do Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and market research Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects within the cyber security and technology sectors Present and explain cyber security services clearly to clients at all levels Prepare tailored proposals and deliver engaging sales presentations Negotiate confidently and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets Keep up to date with cyber security trends and compliance requirements Work closely with our Cyber Security teams to create accurate and valuable solutions for clients Log all activity, opportunities and interactions in Salesforce CRM Support wider sales strategy and marketing campaigns with ideas and market insight What We Are Looking For Proven experience in sales or business development Background in cyber security or technology is preferred Confident communicator with strong relationship building skills Excellent negotiation and closing ability Ability to explain complex cyber security concepts in simple terms Self motivated and able to manage time effectively Comfortable using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and SOC 2 Education Degree in Business, Marketing, Cyber Security or a related field is preferred, but not essential Personal Attributes Proactive and driven Resilient in a target based environment Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident Strong listener who understands client needs Able to adapt in a fast moving sector What You Get Competitive salary Commission and performance bonuses Up to 30 days holiday, with an additional day added each year Pension scheme HR Bright and wellbeing support Clear opportunities for progression Supportive and collaborative team culture About Data Protection People Data Protection People is a leading consultancy specialising in data protection and cyber security.
