Job DescriptionAbout the roleOSO Hotwater Ltd, part of the LG Group, are searching for our next Area Sales Manager covering Yorkshire, North-East and East-Midlands due to an internal promotion. (LE,PE,DE,NG,LN,S,DN,HU,HD,WF,BD,HG,LD,YO,NE,DL,DH,SR,TS)The area is very successful and profitable in all sectors, and significant growth is forecast.The successful candidate must be: - Located within the sales areaA team playerWilling to travelIn possession of a full UK driving licenceA proactive and self-motivated hybrid professional with a proven ability to manage workloads independently, whilst achieving targetsExperienced in building strong client relationships, helping to develop sales strategies, and driving business growth across multiple regions.Skilled in time management, territory planning, and remote collaboration to deliver consistent results with minimal supervision.IT literateAnd ideally: -Has existing relationships with gas engineers, HVAC installers and M&E sectorHas knowledge of the renewables market and / or productsExperienced with the merchanting industryHave existing relationships with consultantsHave technical / engineer experience or the aptitude to learnWhats in it for you?Highly competitive salary + bonusCompany car scheme or opt out allowance6% pension contributionGroup life assurance policyBeing part of an established and successful teamHybrid and autonomous workingInvestment in your training and developmentBranded clothingJob description: -Area Sales Manager OSO Hotwater Ltd.The Area Sales Manager reports to the National Sales Manager at OSO Hotwater Ltd.To manage all aspects of the OSO business in a selected geographic territory. Visting customers and contacts from all potential business sectors. Making any interested parties aware of OSO and its products, promoting them and offering advice where necessary. Our goal is to increase market share whilst maintaining OSO as the premium unvented cylinder brand in the UK.Overall responsibility for the position:To manage a sales territory ensuring that the sales budget is achieved.Maintain and manage relationships with existing customersIdentify and target new potential customersBe technically proficient in all product segment areasMaximise margin opportunitiesPrincipal responsibilities:Maintain and build the OSO CRMWork within set pricing guidelinesBe proficient in territory and time managementProactively promote the brand in a positive mannerBe aware of competitor strengths and weaknessesPartake in technical training sessions and expand knowledgeScope out new site opportunitiesPerform site surveys on behalf of customers to specify productsAdditional aspects of the role to achieve good practice:Perform training sessions for merchant customersParticipate in promotional events (Day or evening)Attendance at trade showsPromote OSO on Linked-InWork alongside other OSO ASMs sharing informationRegularly liaise with OSO Management teamPerform local market and geographic researchWork from home at least one day per weekBe prepared to stay away from home occasionally when requestedTake the unvented examination to attain the G3 certificateReduce waste wherever possible
