Job DescriptionPR Account Director Leeds Hybrid (3 days in-office) Independent PR Agency | Award-Winning Clients | Growth-Focused CultureAn ambitious, independent PR agency based in Leeds is looking for a talented and driven Account Director with strong corporate and B2B communications experience to join its growing team.This is a hands-on leadership role where youll shape and deliver high-impact communications strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with senior stakeholders and mentoring a talented team of PR professionals.With a proven ability to generate real commercial advantage for clients, the agency operates across corporate, consumer, trade and technical PR, alongside content, social and search. The RoleAs Account Director, you'll lead by example delivering exceptional work while managing and mentoring a team that includes a Senior Account Manager and two Account Managers. Youll work directly with the Head of Agency, providing strategic direction and ensuring consistent, high-quality output across all client accounts.This role primarily focuses on corporate and B2B PR, with occasional involvement in B2C activity. What You'll Bring5+ years experience in a PR agency, with a strong corporate/B2B focusA proven track record in delivering strategic and tactical communications campaignsExceptional writing, editing and media relations skillsA solid understanding of integrated communications, including digital, social and SEODemonstrated team management and leadership experienceStrong commercial awareness and account management skillsConfidence in building senior client relationships and offering trusted counselThe ability to manage multiple deadlines while staying detail-focused and results-driven Your Day-to-DayLead client strategy and execution across high-profile B2B and corporate accountsDeliver projects and campaigns on time and within budgetBuild lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for account growthMentor, support and develop junior team membersActively participate in agency marketing, thought leadership and new business activityContribute to the agencys own brand visibility through content and networkingKeep up with news, trends and opportunities to ensure work remains current and impactful Clients Youll Work WithThe agency works with a wide range of respected brands across sectors including property, retail, professional services, financial services, manufacturing and tech.
