Job DescriptionSenior Design SupervisorWe're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Yorkshire Water Framework team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.nLocation: Leeds, West Yorkshire office-based with travel to sites as required within the Yorkshire Water regionHours: 45 hours per week standard working hours with flexibility available if neededContract: Permanent, Full TimenWhatwill you beresponsible for?nAs a Senior Design Manager, you'll be part of our AMP8 Core Team, leading and managing the design interfaces for the delivery of major water treatment schemes. This is a key role within Kier's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business, working on innovative, sustainable solutions for Yorkshire Water.nWhat will your day to day look like?nYour day-to-day will include:nnLeading the design coordination for a range of upgrades and new treatment works, ensuring seamless collaboration between civil, MEICA, and process disciplinesnManaging outline and detailed design phases, supporting estimating, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), and tender activitiesnEnsuring regulatory compliance and Principal Designer duties are met and documentednOverseeing the integration of innovative solutions, including ozone disinfection and reduced-carbon wetland processes, into project designsnSupporting construction delivery teams to ensure designs are buildable, programme-aligned, and meet quality expectationsnnWhat are we looking for?nThis role of Senior Design Manager is great for you if:nnYou have extensive experience in managing complex design interfaces within the water or infrastructure sectors, with a strong understanding of civil, MEICA, and process designnYou're experienced in ECI, tender design, and leading multi-disciplinary design packagesnYou're a confident communicator who can collaborate across teams, deliver to programme, and ensure high standards of technical quality and compliancennWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, andtransferrable skills are always welcome!
