Job DescriptionMachine Shop SupervisorLocation: LeedsSalary: 17 - 20 p/hourHours: Monday Thursday lates/nightsElevation Recruitment are supporting a global metals manufacturing company who are currently seeking an experienced CNC Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of their Machine Shop during the late/night shift. Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, youll play a key role in leading operations, supporting other operators, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Supervisor include:Set and operate CNC machines (Heidenhain & Fanuc) as requiredPrepare first-off setups and train operators using set-up sheetsSupport shop floor team and ensure smooth shift handoversMaintain housekeeping and complete shift reportsLiaise with the Machine Shop Manager to meet departmental needsWere looking for Machine Shop Supervisors with the below skills & experience:Apprentice-trained or equivalent CNC experience preferredPrevious experience in leading and supervising peopleStrong working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controlsExperience working with steel castings would be beneficialConfident in problem solving and supporting team developmentExcellent time management, communication, and leadership skillsIf you're a skilled machinist with a passion for teamwork and leadership, wed love to hear from you, please contact Emma Bartholomew or Jonny Powell directly.
