Youll be working live briefs quickly supported by directors who have decades of market credibility.This isnt a cold-start environment but it does require someone who can deepen relationships, spot opportunities and handle nuanced client conversations.2. Relationship-led, not metric-ledYou wont be judged on call numbers or told to fire out CVs. Success here comes from understanding your clients in detail, advising them intelligently and matching people thoughtfully.Directors are hands-on recruiters themselves. They understand the job and support consultants, not micromanage them.3. Real hybrid flexibilityTypically Tues-Thurs in office. Outside of that, youll be trusted to manage your time around candidates, clients and your own commitments.4. A long-term opportunity, not a stopgapThis starts with taking responsibility for a maternity-cover desk, but there is a clear permanent role beyond that. When the consultant returns, youll transition into another well-established market, again with warm relationships and ongoing work.Youre always stepping into momentum, never dropped into an empty market.5.
