Employment Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm who are looking for an Employment Solicitor to join their team in Leeds.Your responsibilities will include:Advise clients on a wide range of employment issues, including redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination, and contract termination.Represent employers or employees in disputes, such as employment tribunals, settlement negotiations, and ACAS early conciliation.Draft and review contracts, policies, staff handbooks, and settlement agreements to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.Guide clients through disciplinary and grievance processes, workplace investigations, and health 'safety obligations.Support business transactions involving restructures and employee transfers, ensuring adherence to employment legislation.The successful candidate:5+ years PQE in employment law.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to tight deadlines.A proactive and client-focused approachIn exchange, the firm is offering a competitive salary and generous benefits package, as well as progression opportunities.
