Job Description Contract CAD Design Engineer Medical Devices Leeds (4 days onsite) 6 months Outside IR35 TBCWere working with a MedTech company that is looking for a hands-on Contract CAD Design Engineer to support concept through to verification on a live programme.This isnt a box-ticking, paperwork-heavy environment. They need someone who can be shielded from bureaucracy and just get on with designing.What youll be doing:Early-stage ideation and concept development3D modelling and detailed design workProducing robust technical drawings to ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) standardsDesigning with manufacture in min. Real-world DFM awarenessSupporting design verification activitiesWhat theyre looking for:Strong proficiency in NX or SolidWorks or Creo Medical device experienceSomeone who understands how products are actually made, not just designed on screenConfident working autonomously in a fast-paced environmentThis would suit a contractor who enjoys building properly engineered, manufacturable products and wants to spend more time designing than filling in forms.If youre open to a Leeds-based contract (4 days onsite) and want more detail, please apply.
