HGV Class 1 Shunter Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leeds area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on nights part time. Shift: Sunday & Monday Hours: 23:00pm start Pay Rate: 19.08 per hour Location: Leeds, LS27 Job Type : Ongoing The role: Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations. Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and busy spaces. Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow. Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements. Assist with other yard duties as needed. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). . 1 year on licence and proven experience Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only) Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
