Head of Business Development - Caval Talent Solutions Are you a seasoned business development leader with a proven track record of selling innovative talent solutions within the UK construction and/or recruitment sector? Do you thrive on introducing disruptive services that challenge the status quo and deliver tangible value? If so, we want to hear from you! About Talent Solutions Talent Solutions is an innovative new division of Caval which provides a range of services to clients including talent co-ordination, direct sourcing, MSP, RPO and executive search. As part of our continued growth, we're looking for someone to lead our relationship and sales pipeline within the UK construction market for RPO and MSP solutions. This role will build on an outstanding track record within the North and Midlands to form strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, civil engineering and asset owners and ultimately secure new contracts spanning MSP and RPO services. The Opportunity This is an exceptional opportunity to be a foundational member of a rapidly growing venture. You'll be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategy, building key relationships, and driving significant revenue growth from day one. If you're excited by the prospect of building something new and making a substantial impact, this is the role for you. What You'll Do Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify, target, and secure new RPO clients within the UK construction sector. Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., HR Directors, Operations Directors, Managing Directors) within target construction companies. Articulate and evangelise the unique value proposition of our disruptive RPO service, clearly demonstrating its benefits over traditional recruitment methods. Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification through to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing. Collaborate closely with our service delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and to refine our offering based on market feedback. Identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities to continuously enhance our sales approach. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Contribute to the strategic direction of the business as we scale. What You'll Bring Deep and demonstrable understanding of the UK construction sector, including its key players, talent challenges, and operational nuances. Exceptional track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand client business needs and translate them into compelling RPO solutions. Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with C-suite executives and operational leaders. Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. A network of contacts within the UK construction industry is highly desirable.
