Job Description Insolvency & Restructuring Senior AssociateOur client, a distinguished law firm, ranked in the Top 500 and holding numerous prestigious accreditations in recognition of their exceptional legal advice, is seeking an experienced Insolvency & Restructuring Senior Associate to join their well respected team.Working on a diverse array of high-quality non-contentious advisory tasks and contentious insolvency disputes, the firm holds an extensive client base of Insolvency Practitioner throughout the North WestMain Responsibilities of the Role:Handling all aspects of corporate insolvency including administration appointments (both in court and out of court appointments), all court applications under insolvency legislation, providing advice to Ips, secured lenders and directorsDealing with all aspects of property related transactions in insolvencyAll aspects of personal insolvencyDealing with insolvency related litigationMaintain control of an allocated caseload to ensure that standards of matter conduct, file management, administration, time-recording and accounting are maintainedProfessional proactive approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of clients needsResponsible for all aspects of Insolvency work and on occasions, where appropriate providing technical expertise and guidance to other team membersAbility to manage appropriate caseload types and complexitiesKey tasks include:Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing casesDealing with correspondenceMaintaining accurate time costing proceduresEnsuring compliance with file managementKey Skills Required:Committed team player and adapt well to new challengesProfessional with a pro-active approach; excellent client care skills and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalitiesExcellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new businessExcellent analytical and organisational skillsAbility to use own initiative and sound judgmentExcellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skillsThe successful candidate can expect in return a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including flexible and hybrid working
