Job Description Are you an experienced Employee Relations specialist looking for a role where you can take ownership of complex casework, influence stakeholders, and drive best practice within a high-performing environment?Were partnering with a leading global professional services organisation to hire a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, supporting key business areas across the UK.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking HR function where ER is seen as a strategic enabler, not just a support service.The OpportunityYoull join a collaborative HR Business Partnering team as a dedicated ER specialist, working closely with HR, Legal, Risk and senior stakeholders to deliver consistent, risk-aware and people-focused outcomes.This is a varied, fast-paced role offering exposure to complex and sensitive ER matters, alongside the opportunity to shape policy, build manager capability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a broad and complex ER caseload (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability, flexible working)Provide clear, pragmatic advice balancing legal risk, business needs, and employee experienceLead and support investigations, ensuring robust, fair and well-documented outcomesPartner with HRBPs and managers to navigate sensitive and high-risk casesCoach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in handling ER mattersSupport the development and delivery of ER training and best practice frameworksEnsure consistent application of policies, processes, and governance standardsAnalyse ER trends and MI to identify risks and drive proactive interventionsContribute to HR and ER improvement projects, enhancing processes and employee experienceAbout YouProven experience managing a broad range of ER casework within a complex or professional services environmentStrong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practiceConfident advising and influencing senior stakeholders on sensitive issuesExcellent communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical guidanceHigh attention to detail with strong documentation and governance standardsOrganised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentIdeally CIPD qualified (or working towards), though not essentialWhy This Role?Join a globally recognised professional services organisationWork within a high-calibre, collaborative HR functionExposure to complex, high-impact ER work with real business influenceOpportunity to shape policy, capability, and continuous improvement initiativesInclusive, flexible culture with a strong focus on wellbeing and developmentPlease note that this is hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.If youre looking to take your ER expertise into a role where you can add real value, influence outcomes, and drive best practice, this is an excellent opportunity.
