Production/Sawmill Operative

Siamo Recruitment are working with an established wood distributor based in Cirencester. Theyre seeking a talented individual to join their dedicated team as a Production Operative. As a Production/Sawmill Operative., you will work collaboratively to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and exceeds customer satisfaction. Training will be provided, however experience within a production team is advantageous. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the production and distribution industry. Due to the location, you must have a Valid UK Driving Licence A brief overview of the role: Location - Cirencester (South Cerney) 12.85 per hour Monday Thursday 07:00am 18:00pm & Friday 07:00am 16:00pm Free onsite parking Pension WEEKLY pay Lunch facilities PPE Provided initially Your role as the Production/Sawmill Operative will involve the following duties: Quality checking all goods throughout and post manufacture Loading raw materials into the production process and potentially lifting/stacking finished pallets. Running safety checks on machinery Machine operating safety and efficiently Preparing products for dispatch -and loading pallets for delivery Liaising with supervisors with any issues. Adhering to all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Supporting team members regularly General yard duties.
