What we offer: 40,000 45,000 salary (flexible for exceptional candidates) Company car 24 days annual leave bank holidays 5% company pension Supportive team culture and strong company values Key responsibilities: Produce accurate and compliant fire and security system designs and estimates, aligned with relevant British Standards and project requirements Prepare clear technical and commercial documentation, including drawings, specifications, and quotations Provide technical input and support to engineers to ensure smooth project delivery and consistency with design specifications Provide technical support and guidance to engineers throughout project delivery Ensure timely delivery of estimates and proposals to support client requirements and deadlines Collaborate with engineers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project handover and delivery Utilise design and estimating software effectively (Uptick experience preferred) Maintain high levels of technical accuracy and commercial awareness across all designs and submissions What were looking for: Excellent technical knowledge of relevant British Standards for fire and security systems Relevant qualifications (FIA Advanced Designer preferred) Proven ability to deliver accurate estimates within agreed timeframes Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers Proficiency in design and estimating software (Uptick experience desirable) Ideally based in Cumbria or Lancashire, though Manchester and further afield may be considered, with a willingness to travel Remote working may be considered for the right candidate Full UK driving licence and the unrestricted right to work in the UK If youre seeking to join a values-led, quality-focused organisation and take on a key technical role in our next phase of growth, wed welcome your application.
