They are a leader in specialized logistics, general haulage, palletised distribution network, Scania Parts Dealership and third-party HGV vehicle repairs and management.Experience needed:A self-motivated individual with the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsEquivalent of NVQ Level 3 or City & GuildsGood organisational skills and able to work to deadlinesTeam orientatedProven working knowledge of workshop maintenance systemsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelC1+e licence holder (desirable)Role Summary:Operating from the Lancaster workshop or from a mobile workshopCarrying out vehicle and trailer safety inspections, servicing, and repairs to DVSA standards of safety and complianceMaintaining vehicle and trailer ancillaries and specialist body applicationsAssisting whenever required with maintenance on mobile or fixed plant operated by the Operations teamEnsuring that associated company maintenance records are retained to the highest level to ensure compliance whether legislativeor to company proceduresUsing the R2C fleet maintenance system for allocated work/repairsEffectively communicating repair downtime, estimated repair times and completed repairs to the Workshop Supervisor and Service Manager as requiredKeeping tooling and equipment to a good standard of repair and to report any equipment faults or calibrations due to the Works ManagerAssisting the parts team ordering products as requiredPackage summary:22.5 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)Increase in annual leave with long serviceFull training availableAnnual pay reviewLife insuranceCycle2Work schemeFree onsite parkingThis is a fantastic opportunity we look forward to your application.Strive Supply Chain Limited [& associated businesses] acts as an employment agency on behalf of external employers for the provision of permanent staff.
