Control Engineer

Role- Graduate Controls EngineerSalary- £27,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)Type- PermanentLocation- West BerkshireMy client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team.The Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics EngineeringHave knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems ideally or an interest in working with them – Beckhoff or similarAn interest in software engineering would be ideal – any previous exposure to C++, Java or similar (this could be in your hobbies too)Be able to work well individually as well as part of a teamHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:Working within the existing engineering automation technical teamWorking on PLC’s and a range of projectsDeveloping PLC code and software for projectsAlways looking at identifying areas for improvements Commissioning activities and testingWorking from electrical schematicsIntegrating PLC codeFault finding and resolving any issuesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
