Residential Childcare Team Lead

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in residential childcare.This role is ideal for a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step in their career.You will work alongside the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care and support for children who have suffered trauma and may struggle to manage their emotions and behaviour in healthy ways.Lead and Supervise: Foster a positive and collaborative environment among your team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers.Safety and Care: Ensure the safety and well-being of children across four separate homes by working closely with the Registered Manager.Create a Safe Space: Develop a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive within their placement plans and goals.Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists, education specialists, and assessment leads.Care Plans: Clearly communicate and adhere to children's care plans with all team members.Safeguarding and Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the team to ensure safeguarding and regulatory requirements are met.
