Role overview: We are seeking an experienced HVAC/Mechanical Technician to join our clients Mechanical Services team. The successful candidate will install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission HVAC and mechanical systems, including boilers, chillers, pumps, ductwork, pipework, and controls. Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment in commercial/industrial settings. Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions efficiently. Support integration of HVAC with wider mechanical and electrical systems, working alongside engineers, pipefitters, and electricians. Comply with all HSE procedures; ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and PPE. Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance paperwork to ISO standards. Essential Skills & Experience: Experience in HVAC or mechanical systems within commercial or industrial environments. NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or higher in Heating & Ventilation, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering. Gas Safe ticket desirable. Full UK driving licence required for site travel.
