Role objectiveMonitor quality and progress of (WTG) Blades at WTG Suppliers factory in Hull, UK2. ResponsibilitiesWitness the supplier worksWitness the supplier's inspection activitiesFollow-up on manufacturing progress (via Manufacturing Inspection Plan and project related plans of P/D Dates and shipments)Report non-conformities and observations3. TasksParticipate in final inspections (paint & add on) and final taggingMonitor production activities and production documentation as spot checksMonitor product quality and participate in FAI activitiesReport non-conformities detected during inspection and manufacturing (Clients Digital Inspection tool)Report relevant quality issues in Client NCR system (i.e. Synergi)Follow-up on preservation and maintenance of components at supplier's storage areaFollow-up on manufacturing progress according to agreed project manufacturing schedule (MIP)Keep track of trend concerning repeated non-conformities and manufacturing errors and follow-up with the supplier concerning corrective and preventive actionsDocumentation of daily work and inspections to WTG Fabrication & Quality ManagerPrioritise participation in inspection for different Add on components according to failure trends and criticality of failuresCheck of CTQs according to Digital inspection tool e.g LEP- VG DT- Paint- LPS-LOPCReview quality related as-built documentationHighlight relevant HSE related issues4. DeliverablesInspection and manufacturing reportsNon-conformity (Synergi) reports5. Working schedule8 hours/day5 days per weekPossible night shifts are expected (3 to 10 per month)6. QualificationsTechnical education relevant for the subject matter.Recommended 3 years of work experience within wind /manufacturing of bladesRecommended 1 year of experience from similar positionGood knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and smart phone applications for digital inspections8. Language skillsGood English skills in writing and speaking9.
