Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:Apply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.We are looking for a Mechanical Design& Draughtsperson for a permanent position based with our client in Hull.Immediate start available (subject to interview process)Salary Circa 45,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & DesignPrepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar software.Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and equipment layouts.Assist in the design and modification of mechanical systems including boilers, , piping systems, and pollution control equipment.Review vendor drawings and technical documents for compliance with project specifications.Plant Systems InvolvementSupport engineering activities related to:Waste feeding and handling systemsCombustion system and Steam BoilerAsh handling systemsFlue gas treatment systemsCooling systems and water treatment systemsPrepare material take-offs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.QualificationsBachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.3 years Minimum experience in industrial plants, power plants, or Waste to Energy facilities.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting software.Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, and relevant engineering standards.Experience in power plant piping and equipment layout is preferredTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of mechanical systems in thermal power or WTE plants.Familiarity with pressure vessels, piping design, structural supports, and rotating equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Knowledge of fabrication processes and site installation practices. xjdpvnf Dutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client.
