Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week) Contract: Permanent Grade: SC3 Salary Range: 40,500 - 49,500 per annum Target Salary: 47,973 per annum Location: Based at our NCC East College Bircham Newton (Norfolk), 5 days per week About the Role Are you an experienced Crane Operator with experience managing and supervising lifting operations?CITB is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Vocational Instructor Plant Operations to deliver high-quality training across our National Construction Colleges. What youll be doing: As a Plant Operations Instructor, youll play a vital role in preparing learners for successful careers in construction. Youll: Deliver practical and theoretical training on a range of plant machinery to apprentice and commercial learners Deliver CPCS assessments Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Contribute to course development and continuous improvement What were looking for: Essential Specialist licence to practice qualifications relevant to the role (e.g. CPCS or NPORs- A61 Appointed Person, A62 Crane Supervisor, Mobile, Tower or Crawler crane experience. Slinger Signaller) Minimum of Level 3 (or equivalent) vocational qualification directly related to the role Recent (within last 5 years), verifiable experience operating a range of plant machinery in the construction industry or allied sector Excellent knowledge of current industry practices Minimum of Level 3 teaching qualification (or commitment to achieve within one year of commencing role) A passion for teaching and mentoring others Desirable Desirable CPCS Tester/Trainer Status, A1 assessor units, Level 3 teaching qualification.
