Overall Purpose of the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, performing pre-installation checks, coordinating on-site activities for larger projects, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and client expectations.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Key ResponsibilitiesSite SurveysBook and organise site surveys, including travel arrangementsAccurately measure and assess site apertures to ensure product compatibilityDesign products to meet both functional requirements and aesthetic standardsEnsure all customer requirements are clearly documented and metMaintain compliance with building regulations and system parametersCommunicate client requirements effectively to internal teamsManage client correspondence and produce detailed reports in line with company proceduresPre-Installation ChecksArrange and attend pre-installation site visitsIdentify and report any issues that may affect upcoming installationsAssess site access and highlight any relevant health 'safety considerationsAdvise clients on any required preparatory works prior to installationMaintain clear communication with clientsProduce reports and follow internal processesSite CoordinationAttend site to organise and support installation teams where requiredEnsure installations are carried out safely and efficientlyConfirm site setting out aligns with technical drawingsFollow company procedures for method statements and risk assessmentsMeetingsAttend pre-contract, design, and project management meetings as requiredAccurately record and communicate key discussion points and actionsRepresent the company professionally, ensuring working practices and products are clearly explained to clientsMethod Statements & Risk AssessmentsConduct site visits to identify potential hazardsRecommend and implement corrective actions xjdpvnf Prepare detailed method statements and risk assessmentsEnsure all relevant staff are informed of site risks and safety measuresAbout YouStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyGood understanding of health 'safety regulationsExperience in surveying, construction, or glazing (preferred)What We OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Opportunity to work on varied and exciting projectsSupportive team environmentCareer development opportunities
