Electrical & Mechanical Re-winder / SupervisorLocation: Kings Lynn, PE30 4LAA high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!Contract & Hours: Full time, permanent - 40 hours per weekCompany Benefits: Pension, Holidays, 25 plus bank holidays, Life Assurance, Cycle to work scheme, Cash health care scheme - Paycare, Birthday Vouchers, Employee Assistant Programme, Branded Uniform, Free parking and Free tea & coffee!We are Hayley 24/7 Engineering, we are recruiting and we want you!Our purpose is to work with customers to maintain operations, increase efficiency, reduce total cost of ownership, and secure asset performance gains.We provide customers with quality round-the clock coverage for planned, predictive and reactive maintenance and repairs.Our main workshop is in Dudley, the capital of the industrial Black Country, West Midlands.This 35,000 sq. ft. facility houses the latest machinery, testing equipment and central functions, with a satellite facility in King's Lynn, Norfolk, specialising in electric motor rewinding and pump performance testing.As our Electrical and Mechanical Re-Winder you will be responsible for (not limited too):Site attendance 'site assessment where requiredStripping, overhauling, and repairing industrial gearboxes, pumps, and electric motors plus other general mechanical equipmentRe-winding of electrical motors, brakesEmergency call out to customers' requirementsOverseeing the work of Engineers and providing technical assistance when requiredLiaising with customers in job execution, if requiredEnsuring excellent quality standards through final inspection and pass off processFollowing set procedures and guidelinesStrictly adhering to all Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental standardsPart of a call out RotaInspecting completed work for defects or errors and adjusting it accordinglyAssigning tasks to Engineers based on their skill level and knowledgeInterpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical dataIn order to be successful in this role you must have:Experienced mechanical fitter with knowledge of industrial gearboxes, pumps and electric motors assembly and refurbishmentExperienced electrical re-winder for motors brakes would be a distinct advantageSupervisory qualities would be an advantage / problem solving skillsGood communication skills both written and verbalExperienced in the fitting of bearings and other precision componentsCapable of using precision workshop measuring equipment (i.e., micrometers and verniers Laser alignment equipment)Trained and experienced in the use of overhead cranes and slingingForklift license and experience is an advantageAbility to work as part of a team or on their own in a workshop or out on sitesTraining and development of younger members of the teamATEX trained (Advantageous)Working on your own initiative and to tight deadlinesGood housekeeping attitudeFlexibility and willingness to work overtime when requiredHigh degree of self-motivationGCSE or equivalentFull UK driving licenseIf you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then click on APPLY today! xjdpvnf No agencies please.
