Up to 55,000 + package | Hybrid workingWe're supporting a major residential developer seeking an Engineer to join their Technical team in Norwich. You'll be joining a close-knit team of 4-5 people, delivering infrastructure and groundworks design across a wide range of residential developments with a strong, long-term pipeline of work.This role suits someone from a consulting engineering background or someone currently working for a residential developer who now wants to step into a larger developer environment, gain exposure to more complex projects and embrace a new challenge with clear progression opportunities.What you'll be doing:Overseeing the design and detailing of infrastructure and groundworks packagesManaging external engineering consultants for foundations, roads, drainage, sewers and Section 38, 104 and 278 worksProcuring service records and enquiries, including managing payments for new service infrastructureSecuring adoption agreements (S38, S104, S278) and closing out associated bondsCoordinating with structural specialists on superstructure design componentsConducting continuous value engineering and peer review of consultant designsLiaising with Technical, Planning and Building Control teams to support the discharge of conditionsWhat you'll need:HNC/HND or higher in an Engineering related discipline.
