The position would suit someone with previous merchant experience but this is not essential as long as you are customer and sales focused. Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Trade Counter Assistant / Desk Sales Assistant include, but are not limited to: Serving customers at the trade counter. Advising customers of our product range. Problem solving. Cash handling. Administration. Helping Loading and unloading of deliveries. Working with colleagues to increase customer base and sales.
