Continued growth and significant investment in advanced CNC technology has created multiple opportunities across both the CNC Milling and CNC Turning departments.Current Vacancies:CNC Miller Setter / Operator (Days & Nights)CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator (Days & Nights)CNC Turner Setter / Operator (Days & Nights)CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator (Days & Nights)Team Leader Machining Department (Nights)These roles suit motivated, quality-driven CNC Machinists who enjoy working in a high-performance CNC Machining environment.Role OverviewDue to continued expansion and investment in advanced CNC Machining technology, the business is looking to recruit experienced CNC Machinists across both CNC Milling and CNC Turning disciplines.You will work either as a CNC Milleror a CNC Turner, producing high-precision components using modern CNC machining centres or CNC lathes. Applicants should have a strong eye for detail, a proactive mindset and at least 3+ years experience in CNC Machining.5-axis experience is essential for CNC Milling roles.Turning roles require strong experience setting, operating and/or programming CNC lathes.The Team Leader role is ideal for a senior CNC Machinist with experience coordinating workflow, supporting others on the shopfloor and maintaining quality and efficiency standards.Key Duties:Setting, operating and (where applicable) programming CNC machines (milling or turning)Producing small, complex precision components using best-practice CNC Machining techniquesWorking to tight tolerances and strict quality requirementsReading and interpreting engineering drawings accuratelyProving out programs, tooling and machining processesMachining a range of materials including aluminium, steels, titanium, super alloys and engineering plasticsSupporting continuous improvement within the CNC Machining teamSkills & Experience Required:Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC MachinistBackground in either CNC Milling or CNC TurningAbility to set and operate CNC machines independentlyProgramming experience advantageous (on-machine or offline, role dependent)Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining principlesHeidenhain experience beneficial for milling rolesFor Team Leader role: experience supervising machinists and coordinating workloadsHours of WorkDays:Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00Nights:Monday to Thursday 17:00 to 05:00Overtime:Regular overtime available (typically 510+ hours per week)Paid at x1.5 for both shiftsInterested?If youre an experienced CNC Machinist specialising in CNC Milling or CNC Turning, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking CNC Machining business with modern facilities, shift flexibility and clear progression opportunities including the chance to step into a Team Leader role.Get in touch to discuss the role in confidence or to submit your application.JBRP1_UKTJ
