We are March the UKs leading provider of critical engineering services. Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Team Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to progress towards an Operations Manager role. You will be responsible for deliveringelectricalinstallation projects valued around 15k35k, managing a small on-siteteam(typically around 5 engineers) while being part of a largerteamof up to 65 on site. Key Responsibilities Overseeingelectricalinstallations in an industrial environment (food manufacturing experience highly desirable) Quoting and delivering small works projects typically valued up to 2535k Building strong working relationships with client Project Managers Preparing detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Planning and managing small projects to tight timescales Auditing ongoing works to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards Selecting and ordering materials and hire equipment Arranging suitable labour for each project Supervising and supporting yourteamto deliver high-quality results Fault finding, testing and modifying control panels as required Completing timesheets and project documentation accurately Work on varied projects mainly focused on lighting and power installations Skills and Experience Strong experience inelectricalinstallation within an industrial setting Experiencein control and automation, including building and modifying control panels Able to read and interpret schematic drawings Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working to tight timescales Able to produce clear, accurate quotations and project plans Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and client engineers Specific Skills / Qualifications Fully qualified to BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition) Knowledge of BS 60204 (Electricalequipment of machines/control panels) Confident in fault finding and testing to BS 7671 Proven experience supervisingteams and managing subcontractors where needed What we offer Competitive salary with generous overtime rates - time and a half on weekdays and double pay on weekends Plenty of overtime available if you want it (weekday evenings or weekends) Genuine opportunities for progression -we want people who are ambitious and ready to step up into Operations Manager roles in the future Training and development through a dedicated in-house training academy Be part of a successful, growing business with a supportiveteamculture TPBN1_UKTJ
