Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Fully Remote Reporting to: Regional Health and Safety Manager We are a fast-growing Health & Safety and Fire consultancy, based in Northamptonshire. You will join an established Health and Safety team and will play a significant role in contributing, influencing and improving performance in the workplace at an individual, team and organisational level. Main Purpose of the Role A fundamental part of the role will be to manage and retain a designated key client relationship by ensuring the delivery of high-quality and pro-active health and safety services. This role is crucial in maintaining a strong partnership with the key account client, providing advice on health and safety standards, in particular CDM and construction related compliance, and identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement and retention. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for the designated client, collaborating with client project teams, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and long-term commitment to our services. Complete any internal training or professional development required for the role. To also provide the highest quality health and safety consultancy services to all Essential Safety clients. To work closely with colleagues in meeting departmental and individual objectives and projects. To support the continuous improvement of service delivery to maximise the perceived client value and engagement. Ideal Candidate Specifications: skills and experience Evidence of working as a health and safety adviser either as a consultant or as an employed adviser across a wide range of industries or in an enforcement capacity. A proven track record of implementing H&S Management processes with a strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including best practices Evidence of working closely with, and a strong understanding of, the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, in particular Principal Designer, either as a consultant or an employed advisor. Capable of demonstrating an ability to achieve service excellence and a significant contribution to improving health and safety performance. You will be able to bring your expertise and experience to the role and share our teams drive and passion to deliver best-in-class services for our clients. Excellent communication skills. Clear, precise, and concise in writing and orally. Capable of working remotely with regular visits to client sites and working to deadlines. Highly organised, efficient, and effective at managing own workloads. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and enthuse people. To be a team player and able to contribute to development of the team. Adept in use of MS Office suite and internet. Experience of the use of CRM and workload planning, and management systems is also desirable. Someone who is passionate about people and is committed to creating a supportive environment in Essential Safety, where our people can thrive, develop, and grow. Must have a clean driving licence and own vehicle to attend client visits. Nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Cert IOSH and on a definitive IPD program to achieve CMIOSH status. Construction related qualifications (NEBOSH Construction Certificate/SMSTS/CSCS), desirable APS (Association for Project Safety) membership, IMaPS or CMaPS, desirable. TPBN1_UKTJ
