Youll become part of a skilled team of 5 Engineers and a Controls Technician, supporting a busy, modern packaging production site. What Youll Be Getting Up To No two shifts are the same, but heres a taste: Diagnosing and repairing both mechanical & electrical faults Working from technical drawings, wiring diagrams & SCADA displays Hands-on mechanical workshop tasks: fabrication, welding, lathe & milling Carrying out proactive preventative maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly Performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance Installing and wiring electrical equipment across the site Fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens experience a bonus!) Developing skills with Servo Drives, AC/DC digital drives & controls Working with advanced automation 'software Tools & Tech Youll Work With If youre excited by modern engineering, this is for you! Shift Pattern Rotating 3-shift pattern in a supportive team of 2: Nights: 22:00 06:00 Afternoons: 14:00 22:00 Mornings: 06:00 14:00 (Working Sunday 10pm through to Friday 10pm your weekends are yours! ) What Were Looking For A practical problem-solver with experience in a similar industrial engineering role whos confident across both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
