MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Kettering | 35,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance function within a well-established UK organisation operating as part of a wider group of utility and infrastructure support businesses. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role offering genuine exposure to management accounts, budgeting, financial analysis, and systems development, including involvement in the implementation of a new ERP system. Its an ideal position for someone studying AAT or working towards CIMA / ACCA, looking to strengthen both technical accounting capability and commercial finance exposure within a supportive and evolving environment. The Role As Management Accountant, you will play a key role within the finance team, supporting accurate reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement across financial processes. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly management accounts Posting accruals, prepayments, and journals Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles Assisting with financial reporting of project-based data Supporting year-end and audit preparation Involvement in ERP system implementation (COINS) Providing financial insight and reporting to non-financial stakeholders Supporting process improvement and efficiency initiatives Ensuring compliance with group financial policies Providing cover across the finance function when required About You You will be a proactive and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in accuracy and commercial insight.
