Job Description Head of Sustainability & Environment | Kent - Hybrid | up to 88,000Are you an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager looking to step up into a leadership role?Background working in construction, house building or civils?PT Renewables is partnered with a growing and forward-thinking construction group is looking for a Head of Sustainability & Environment to shape and deliver the next phase of its sustainability journey.If you're passionate about sustainability in the built environment, enjoy influencing at senior level, and want to drive meaningful change across a large organisation this could be a fantastic next step.The RoleThis is an opportunity to build and shape sustainability strategy at group level, not just maintain existing frameworks. Youll have senior-level visibility, the backing of leadership, and the chance to influence how a major construction business approaches net-carbon development and ESG performance over the coming years.What youll be doingDeveloping and delivering the Group Sustainability Strategy and long-term ESG visionEstablishing baseline sustainability data and defining measurable targets for improvementWorking with senior leadership and the ESG committee to drive the Group ESG PlanActing as an internal advisor to teams across the business on sustainability best practiceSupporting the delivery of social value programmes across projects and communitiesBuilding relationships with NGOs, industry bodies, local authorities and policy makersDriving awareness and engagement with sustainability initiatives internally and externallyAbout youExperience developing and implementing organisation-wide sustainability strategiesStrong understanding of the ESG and sustainability landscape, particularly within construction or the built environmentConfidence presenting and influencing at senior leadership levelA passion for sustainability, community impact and responsible developmentBenefitsSalary up to 83,0005,500 Car AllowanceHybrid working in South London/KentBonus opportunities, development, enhanced leave and generous pension.
