CDM Consultant & Principal Designer

Job DescriptionWe are currently partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Kent, who are recruiting for a CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.Our client are specialists in Designing, Costing and Managing Construction projects over a wide variety of sectors and clients across the South-East of England.This is a full-time position with a salary range of 35,000 to 45,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Preparing Pre-Construction information and Construction Phase PlansAttending Design Team Meetings, resolving design related health and safety issuesCarrying out regular CDM site audits and attending progress meetingsCompiling Health & Safety files during the project for the client at handoverWorking with Clients and Contractors to provide advice on Health and Safety practices on site, in design and future maintenanceExperience required:Experience as a Principal Designer or CDM Advisor roleIdeally with CMaPS / NEBOSH construction certificateExperience of working on a variety of projects from demolition to large scale constructionSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Excellent communication, management and team working skillsUnderstanding of the design hazard elimination processRewards and Benefits:3 days work from home post probationProgression up to Associate levelTeam social days and activities26 days annual leaveWorking hours:37.5 hours per week Monday Friday, 9am-5:30pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
