Job Description CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking an manual/CNC lathe machinistFor our client based in Cross Hills, BD20.We are looking for someone with the relevant experience in the following:Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines (in particular Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i)Accurately setting machines right first timeCarrying out self - inspection of work to ensure qualityWorking to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing machining techniquesMaintaining alignment with company core valuesSupporting and mentoring apprenticesCarrying out any other tasks in line with your skills and experience as neededSkills:Proven CNC machining experienceAble to programme using FanucStrong understanding of Health & Safety and workplace standardsKnowledge and adherence to ISO9001:2015complianceUnderstanding of 5S methodologyGood communication and timekeepingA team player with a positive attitudeSelf - motivated and proactiveFlexible and open to changeCommitted to quality and continuous improvementAligned with our workplace values and behavioursWorkinghours:Flex times (Mon - Fri)6am - 3pmOR7am - 4pmOR8am - 5pmHalf day every FridaySalary: Up to 35,226 per annumIf you are interested in the role, and have the relevant experience please apply with your CV or give us a call on01942 834 107.JBRP1_UKTJ
