Teacher of Physical Education

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons across the Broad General Education and Senior Phase, helping pupils develop physical skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for health and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Excellence. Promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal development. Support whole-school initiatives that enhance health and wellbeing. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to a positive and inclusive school ethos. Essential Criteria: GTCS registration (or eligibility to register). Strong communication and organisational skills. A commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement. Desirable: Experience teaching across both BGE and Senior Phase. Familiarity with interdisciplinary learning and outdoor education.
