Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Thrapston Salary: 22,759.34 25,331.46 per annum Hours: 8:30 am 5:00 pm (Full-Time, Permanent) Recruitment Partner: People Sharks Role Overview People Sharks are recruiting a motivated Teaching Assistant for Progress Schools Thrapston supporting students in an alternative education setting. The successful candidate will assist teachers in delivering lessons, provide emotional and academic support to students with additional needs, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support teaching staff in lesson delivery and classroom management. Provide one-to-one and small group assistance to students with EHCPs. Encourage participation and promote student wellbeing. Foster positive relationships and uphold safeguarding policies. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external partners. Requirements GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Grade C/4 or above. Experience working with children or young people in education. Understanding of SEND and behaviour management strategies.
