Senior Manager, Sustainability

Description Location: London / Hybrid Working (Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri) Salary: Up to 62,500 (Sheffield) / 70,000 (London) depending on experience The Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen where you will be able to influence the Banks sustainability strategy and ensure it is embedded within our broader corporate plans. The role will involve working across the Bank to embed sustainability within the Banks strategic objectives and day to day operations including responsible investment practices, disclosures, and impact reporting Key responsibilities include: Shaping and delivering the Banks sustainability strategy as part of corporate planning Developing proposals to support access-to-finance for UK SMEs through sustainability initiatives Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including with senior decision-makers and government partners Supporting a culture of collaboration, wellbeing and professional excellence within the team Key skills required: Sustainable finance / ESG / responsible investment Strategic project leadership and working with senior stakeholders Producing evidence-based recommendations and communicating insights clearly This role will suit someone who enjoys shaping strategic thinking, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing at pace.
