Location: Mayfair, London About the Role We are seeking a well-rounded Corporate Tax Manager to join a client-focused, private wealth advisory group in Mayfair. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, provide expert corporate tax advice, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic tax team. You will work closely with the leadership team, combining compliance expertise with strategic insight. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for corporate tax matters, advising clients and preparing/filing their corporate tax returns. Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, including privately owned businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, and multinational firms. Support the wider tax team with corporate tax planning, advisory matters, and multi-jurisdictional compliance. Prepare proposals, written advice, and reports on UK and international tax matters, including M&A, CFC rules, tax residence, permanent establishments, and inbound/outbound investments. Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the corporate tax function. Liaise with HMRC, clients, banks, and other professionals to ensure smooth tax compliance and reporting. Ensure adherence to quality control procedures, manage budgets, and maintain WIP and billing processes. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Minimum 7 years experience in UK tax advisory and compliance. ACA/ACCA qualified ; CTA advantageous . Candidates with relevant foreign tax qualifications considered. Specialist in corporate tax with a balance of compliance and advisory experience, ideally from a Top 10 network firm. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneSource, IRIS, Sage, FreeAgent, Xero, Caseware, SAP . Fluency in at least one major European language (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, or Turkish) is desirable. Sound knowledge of UK corporate and income taxation. Competencies & Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, can-do attitude. Confidence in negotiating, challenging, and providing advice to senior clients and stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism under challenging situations. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment. Strong project management capabilities and adaptability to changing priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
