SEND Teaching Assistants Wanted (free training provided)

Team Educate are seeking supply and longer term SEND Teaching Assistants to work in alternative provisions in Taunton, for this academic year. Team Educate has been asked to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants to work directly with schools in Taunton. This role would be working within alternative provisions supporting students with SEND needs, sometimes including Social, Emotional and Mental Health . The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant is to work alongside an experienced network of teachers, keeping the students engaged and focused during the school day. There will be an element of both 1:1 working and also group work , allowing you to build core relations and rapport with these young learners. No prior experience is necessary - we value the right attitude and a passion for helping others. Experience or qualifications in SEND are advantageous, but not essential. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and motivated to make a tangible impact on a childs educational journey.
